1. Find a lichen near you (in a yard, in your neighborhood, or anywhere that is safe to explore.) 2. Take a photograph of it. 3. Share your photograph, and your observations about the lichen, on the iNaturalist app (directions are included in the video for using the mobile app, or uploading the image using a non-mobile browser). 4. Write in your field journal about where you found the lichen, how you know it is lichen (and not moss), and what it looks like. |
